ISO: Looking for LIDS & popsicle sticks



Looking for any plastic lids that you have (or will have) over the next couple of weeks. Pop bottles, milk jugs, etc.  Please send any lids you have to school before December 13th.

Also searching for popsicle sticks if you have any lying around your home.

- Reminders: Monday is our Social Studies quiz (research terms, regions on a map, and identity) and Tuesday is our Math quiz (place value, representing numbers, comparing and ordering numbers)

Thursday, November 28
- Creative minds at work!  It is really neat to see the unique projects that have emerged from our "Inventor's Workshop" building project. Stay tuned for photos in the next week.
- Thank you to those who sent plastic lids our way! We still need more, so please continue saving them and sending them to school as you recycle bottles around your house.
- Don't forget: Social Quiz on Monday and Math Quiz on Tuesday (see previous post for what is on the quizzes)
- tomorrow is "Facial Hair Friday".  Feel free to wear a creative mustache tomorrow.

Wednesday, November 27
- AMA our building session today. Most machines are ready for testing (or super close!) and we are really excited to share them with each other
- Please send any (and all) plastic lids to school over the next few weeks for a project
- Friday is "facial hair day" for "Movember". Donations will be collected for cancer research

Tuesday, November 26

- AMA the Opera Story that was shared at the assembly; a composer from the Calgary Opera will be working with us over the next couple of months to prepare songs to accompany the script
