November 4-8, 2019

Friday, November 8th 
- No school Monday (Remembrance Day); please take a moment with your family to remember the sacrifices that have been made for our country
- Inline Skating forms coming home
- Remembrance Day newspaper & booklet coming home

Thursday, November 7th
- some amazing learning happened with levers today. AMA what a fulcrum is and how it's placement makes work easier/more difficult
- Oldest & Only: "The Mixing Spoon" fundraiser info coming home 
- Snowpass Flyer coming home
- Book Orders accepted until tomorrow
- Remembrance Day Assembly tomorrow at 10:30. Cadets, Scouts/Cubs, and Brownies/Girl Guides are welcome to wear their uniforms
- please bring in change (loonies/toonies/etc.) for poppies tomorrow

Wednesday, November 6th
- AMA gears (driver and follower gears)
- AMA the different types of endings that can be used for personal narratives
- AMA verbs, nouns, adjectives, and adverbs
- AMA place value battleship

Tuesday, November 5th
- We started learning about the significance of Remembrance Day today; our Remembrance Day assembly will be on Friday at 10:30
- AMA our book walk with Ms. Hatch today
- reminder: please send dried beans by Friday for an upcoming art project

Just a reminder that the Dress Rehearsal for La Bohème is this coming Thursday, November 7th at 7pm at the Jubilee Auditorium.  As an LCO school, we receive discounted tickets for $12+$2 handling instead of $18+$2 handling.  Please call the Calgary Opera box office to reserve your tickets (403-262-7286)
